Our Story
Good Shirt was born out of the simple desire to create an eco-savvy clothing company that inspires adventure and lessens our impact on the natural world.
In learning that the clothing industry is one of the largest polluters on the planet, the industry I’ve worked in for over 20 years coupled with the fact that over the same time frame I’ve seen first hand a massive increase in the amount of plastics finding their way to the worlds oceans, indiscriminately killing marine and birdlife.
I figured, it's time to step up, with the view to making a positive impact in these areas.
It’s a no brainer really, in taking the more sustainable route, we'll follow in the footsteps of the likes of legendary outdoors company Patagonia.
A company who since the early 70's has been shining brightly as an environmentally aware brand, working to continually improve their product and lessen the environmental impact of their products, donating to activists working to improve the health of the natural world .... a company whom has no doubt over the years inspired many others like myself to take this less trodden but ultimately more rewarding path.
So we’d be stoked if you’d join us on our journey and together as enviro aware adventurers, artists and explorers ...............we’ll carve new trails.
